Today marks a significant milestone as the Asantehene celebrates his 74th birthday, coinciding with the silver jubilee of his enthronement.
As part of the silver jubilee program, a mini durbar was held for the Asantehene to receive visitors. In the morning, he attended a thanksgiving service at St. Cyprian’s Anglican Cathedral in Fante New Town, Kumasi.
The service was attended by Gã Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, among others.
Later in the evening, a birthday dinner, strictly by invitation, will take place at the Manhyia Palace.
