The National Identification Authority (NIA) is set to expand its premium registration services to five additional regions starting 5th May 2025.
The move is part of efforts to improve access to expedited Ghana Card services for applicants across the country.
In line with this expansion, the NIA will relocate its premium centre at the Shiashie Head Office to a new location at the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), situated at the Legon City Campus, with the digital address GA-076-0326.
Beginning on the same date, services at the RCC and CalBank premium centres will be available strictly by appointment. Applicants seeking first-time registration, card replacement, or personal information updates at these centres must schedule their visit through the NIA’s booking portal at register.nia.gov.gh. Other premium centres across the country will continue to operate on a walk-in basis.
The Authority is encouraging eligible Ghanaians in the designated regions to take advantage of the extended premium services for faster and more convenient processing of their national ID cards.
The NIA also reminds the public that its 276 district offices nationwide remain open and fully functional for regular registration services.
The five (5) additional premium registration centres are as follows:
