More than 6,000 Ghanaian nurses and midwives to receive placement – GHS announces

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has revealed the placement process for 6,015 nurses and midwives from the 2020 batch who applied for postings through the Ministry of Health portal.

These candidates, who opted to work with the GHS, are requested to report to their preferred regional health offices for selection and placement.

All eligible nurses and midwives must bring their certificates and AIN/PIN from the Nursing and Midwifery Council when reporting to their designated regional offices. The reporting dates are organized according to specific cadres, as outlined below:

Placement Schedule

– Monday, 18th November 2024 – Tuesday, 19th November 2024: Enrolled Nurses
– Wednesday, 20th November 2024: Community Health Nurses, Registered Community Health Nurses, and Public Health Nurses
– Thursday, 21st November 2024: Registered General Nurses and Midwives
– Friday, 22nd November 2024:Nursing and Midwifery Officers
