LIVE: Appointments Committee vets Pelpuo, Murtala, Sam George, Ablakwa, others

Parliament’s Appointments Committee is vetting eight ministerial nominees today, Thursday, January 30, in a key session to assess their readiness for office.

Leading the lineup is Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, nominated for the Ministry of Labour, Jobs, and Employment, followed by Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, designated for Environment, Science, and Technology.

Also appearing are Samuel Nartey George (Communications, Digital Technology & Innovations), Kofi Iddie Adams (Sports & Recreation), and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (Foreign Affairs).

The vetting will also feature Joseph Bukari Nikpe (Transport), Issifu Seidu (Minister of State for Climate Change & Sustainability), and Mrs. Charity Gardiner (Ahafo Regional Minister-designate).
