On Sunday, October 13, a female student at Mpraeso Senior High School in the Kwahu South Municipality reported being raped by a group of eight male students.
Three of the suspects are at large, while five others are currently in police custody. The police plan to arraign the five detained suspects.
The Kwahu Nkwatia Divisional Police Command is actively searching for the remaining three suspects.
The victim has received medical attention and counselling. The school management has pledged full cooperation with the investigation, assuring that the situation is under control.
