Police arrest man for assaulting 20-year-old daughter in Twifo Praso

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Nana Amo Abraham for physically assaulting his 20-year-old daughter at Twifo Praso in the Central Region.

The arrest follows an investigation that revealed the suspect inflicted bodily harm on his daughter during a disagreement.

According to police sources, the victim sustained injuries from the assault and required immediate medical attention. The suspect, who is currently in police custody, is assisting authorities with further investigations and is expected to be arraigned before court soon.

In the meantime, arrangements have been made by the police for the victim to receive advanced medical care at the Police Hospital in Accra, ensuring her full recovery.
