A driver suspected to be under the influence of alcohol crashed into a shop in Kokomlemle, Accra.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported, although the driver did collide with another vehicle. Following the incident, a journalist from Adom News approached the driver to gather information on how the accident occurred.
“How did this happen?” the male journalist asked.
The driver, who did not look well-sound, replied, “Where my thoughts are right now, I will not be able to answer. Where is the driver, he should do what pleases him to me. I have nothing to say.”
The journalist then asked if indeed he was intoxicated, and he repeatedly said, “I have nothing else to say.”
“Why would you drink and drive,” the journalist further asked.
“Who told you I have taken in alcohol? After getting wet, do you expect me to respond?” he asked.
“You don’t drink and drive,” the journalist said.
The furious driver replied, “take your questions away and leave my presence. Go away, go away. When you came here, was I holding the steer?”
