Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations has unveiled a special Independence Day data bundle, offering 6GB for GHC10 through a collaboration with telecommunications companies.
The initiative aims to make internet access more affordable for Ghanaians.
Announcing the offer, the minister highlighted the government’s commitment to digital transformation.
“This initiative highlights our dedication to building the enablers for a truly digitalised Ghana, offering Ghanaians the vast opportunities of an interconnected world, all from the comfort of their homes,” he stated.
In addition to the special bundle, the ministry will introduce both short- and long-term measures on Friday to further reduce data prices nationwide. This initiative forms part of the government’s broader strategy to improve internet accessibility and affordability for all citizens.
