Fast Law PC, representing Mona Montrage, popularly known as Hajia4Reall, has unequivocally stated that she did not engage in any cooperation with the US Attorney’s Office to secure a reduced sentence in her recent legal proceedings.
In a statement posted on the firm’s official Instagram page, a spokesperson clarified, “Mona Montrage did not participate in any catfishing activities or collaborate with the US Attorney’s Office to disclose any names related to her case. We have substantial evidence to support these assertions.”
This clarification comes amidst speculations and inquiries regarding Hajia4Reall’s alleged cooperation with authorities following her sentencing.
The spokesperson emphasized the consequences of such cooperation, pointing out, “If Mona had cooperated with the US Attorney’s Office, it is unlikely that they would have recommended a guideline sentence of 37 to 46 months.”

Mona Montrage was sentenced to one year and a day for her involvement in a romance scam amounting to $2 million, targeting older, single Americans. Initially extradited from the UK, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to receive stolen money and faced multiple charges including attempted wire fraud and money laundering.
During the legal proceedings, Hajia4Reall’s legal team also addressed allegations involving her former partner, Luvman Allison, who purportedly used her accounts for financial activities related to the scam. Her lawyers argued that Luvman, while on probation following a previous arrest, misled her into participating in these illicit schemes.
