Nick Cannon, renowned host of The Masked Singer, has taken an unusual step to protect what he considers his most valuable asset.
The father of 12 recently revealed that he has insured his testicles for a whopping $10 million.
This unique decision was announced during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where Cannon humorously explained his rationale.
“I had to insure my most valuable assets,” Cannon stated. “You hear about all these different celebrities insuring their legs and other body parts, so I thought, ‘Hey, I need to insure my most valuable body part.'”
The insurance policy was arranged in collaboration with Dr. Squatch, a men’s grooming company. Cannon is partnering with Dr. Squatch for a new campaign that encourages users to discover the “value of their balls.” In a playful twist, the campaign crowned Cannon with the title of Most Valuable Balls.
“We know how to make noise out here, and that’s exactly what we did,” Cannon shared with ET about the partnership. He initially announced the insurance policy in an Instagram post several weeks ago, which quickly caught the public’s attention.
In his post, Cannon addressed his critics with characteristic humor: “Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids. Shoutout to Dr. Squatch for giving my balls the credit they deserve and hooking me up with the protection I need to keep this family tree rolling!”
Despite the bold move, Cannon clarified that he doesn’t plan on expanding his family in the immediate future. “[I’m] just making sure nothing goes wrong,” he assured ET.
