The campaign spans a month and involves collaboration with government agencies across the Greater Accra Region’s 25 local authorities.
Key activities of the Homowo Clean-up exercise include registering households for organized waste collection services, educating residents on proper waste management techniques, and enforcing local by-laws to ensure compliance.
Ga Mantse stressed that the initiative is apolitical, emphasizing that maintaining a clean environment is a collective responsibility transcending political affiliations.
