The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a forecast indicating that a moderate to heavy rainstorm observed over southern Togo is expected to drift westward and affect areas in southern Ghana.
According to GMet, the storm is anticipated to impact the southeast region of Ghana this morning, before moving further southwest later in the day.
In addition, a separate rainstorm over Burkina Faso is expected to bring cloudiness over parts of the upper west region of Ghana, accompanied by rain of varying intensity.
Areas likely to be affected by these weather patterns include Aflao, Keta, Anloga, Ho, Akatsi, Somanya, Tema, Accra, Koforidua, and Begoro.
