The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has announced that a moderate-to-heavy rainstorm observed over southern Nigeria is moving westwards towards Ghana.
It is forecasted to impact areas within the Oti, Volta, Eastern, Central, Ashanti, Bono, and Western regions, bringing thunderstorms or varying intensities of rain.
Later, it is expected to induce cloudiness over the affected areas.
Gusty winds are expected to precede the storm, according to the circular issued by the Agency.
