The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with the killing of a US national at Nyinasen near Cape Coast in the Central Region.
In a statement released on Sunday, April 21, the police identified the suspects as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and Yussif Afrim. They were apprehended on Friday, April 19, at Assin Praso in the Central Region for their alleged involvement in the murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Wisdom Sete, believed to be the deceased’s fiancé, conspired with Yussif Afrim to commit the crime.
The police have deposited the remains of the deceased at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy. Additionally, two vehicles belonging to the deceased have been recovered from the suspects, who are currently in police custody assisting with further investigations.
