Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The versatile 25-year-old, who joined the Gunners from Bologna in 2021, has made 73 appearances for the team under manager Mikel Arteta.
Tomiyasu scored his first goal for Arsenal against Sheffield United in October last year, and he is now set to continue his career in North London.
Boss Arteta said: “We are so pleased to have Tomi commit his future with us.
“Together with his natural ability and strength, Tomi’s attitude, mentality and values are first-class.
“Tomi is loved by everyone and has been an integral part of the squad since joining us.”
