Billionaire businessman and co-owner of the Red Devils, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, has weighed in on the speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappé’s potential move to Manchester United.
He has indicated that rather than splashing out on big-name signings, the club should focus on scouting and developing young talent.
In an interview, Sir Jim Ratcliffe commented, “Mbappé to Man United? I’d try to find the next Mbappé rather than spend a fortune trying to buy success. It’s not that clever to sign Mbappé now, it’s more challenging to find the next Mbappé, next Bellingham or next Roy Keane.”

There were reports that Man Utd have sent Kylian Mbappé a stunning contract offer in the wake of his decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappé is set to depart the French giants at the conclusion of the season, with an anticipated move to Real Madrid once the details of his departure are settled.
The French star has been strongly linked with a departure from the Ligue 1 club for the past few years, with Madrid frequently mentioned as his probable destination. However, several other top clubs have also been connected with him during this period, including United.
