Enzo Fernandez, the 23-year-old Argentine midfielder, has put to rest any speculation about his departure from Chelsea, expressing his contentment with the club and his lack of desire to leave in the near future.
Following his goal in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace last night, Fernandez affirmed his gratitude for the positive treatment he has received at the club.
He said: “I don’t want to leave Chelsea. I’m feeling very good here with my team-mates and the coaching staff and have done since the day I arrived.
“The people at the club are treating me very well and I’m grateful for that. I will continue here for as long as they want me to.”
